Last week, Martha MacCallum filled in on various shows. She went bare-shouldered on many of them.

Few newsladies can pull off the sleeveless look better than Martha, as the above caps show.

Julie Banderas Reports on the Purple Heart Forever Stamp

On the weekend edition of the Fox Report yesterday, Julie Banderas reported on the unveiling of the new Purple Heart Forever Stamp.

The stamp is intended to honor those who were killed or wounded in America's wars.

It should be a crime for Julie Banderas to have so little airtime.

The Women of TV News Cover the Kentucky Derby

The 2011 Kentucky Derby is tomorrow, and some of the women of TV news are in Louisville, Kentucky, to cover the event. And as the caps below show, they brought their big hats-a Kentucky Derby tradition-with them.

FNC's Courtney Friel was reporting from Churchill Downs in a floral-print dress and white hat.

The Weather Channel's Stephanie Abrams was also there, but sporting a much more subdued wardrobe than Courtney:  A pink ensemble and a black hat.

Whether their fashion is gaudy or muted, the ladies of TV news will be sure to impress in Kentucky.

Erin Burnett Says Goodbye to CNBC

TVNewser's Chris Ariens has the video of Erin Burnett's sign-off from CNBC.

The sign-off featured some highlights from Erin's time at CNBC.  Erin gave some rather strange gifts to her co-anchor Mark Haines, including Cheetohs lip gloss and camel magnets.  The segment ended with a choked-up Erin saying good-bye to her CNBC viewers one last time.

But don't worry, Erin fans.  She will begin her career with CNN-where she will anchor a weekday news show-next month.

Shannon Bream will be one of the three moderators of tonight's Republican presidential debate on FNC.

Along with Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace and FNC contributor Juan Williams, Shannon will be asking the candidates questions on important political issues.

With a background in law and experience covering the Supreme Court, Shannon will likely have some very good questions to ask.

Lara Logan Interviews Former Pakistani President Musharraf

On Wednesday's CBS Evening News, Lara Logan interviewed the former President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf.

In a repeat of her interview with Musharraf on 60 Minutes in 2008, Lara grilled Musharraf on the actions-or lack thereof-taken by Pakistani security forces against terrorist figures in the country.

Great job grilling the former Pakistani leader, Lara!

Kimberly Guilfoyle Talks the Webbys

On FNC's live streaming webcast, host Kimberly Guilfoyle interviewed David-Michele Davies, the Executive Director of the Webby Awards, which honors online creations in categories ranging from games to political websites.

It's a cool interview in which the beautiful Kimberly shows her playful side.

Could Morning Joe Move to CBS?, Part Deux

TVNewser's Alex Weprin weighs in on Colby Hall's speculation that Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski could move to CBS.

Weprin thinks that such a move would be unlikely, given that Scarborough is still with the network after his previous contract expired in March, the same month that Starbucks agreed to a long-term sponsorship of Morning Joe.  If there was any real possibility that Joe would leave, Weprin argues, Starbucks wouldn't have made such a move.

Personally, I think they'll stay with MSNBC.

Q&A with Shannon Bream

Southern Views Magazine has a Q&A with FNC's Shannon Bream.

Shannon talks about her time at Liberty University, her transition from law to journalism, and how her competition in the Miss USA and Miss America pageants have helped her career.

Shannon Bream is a drop-dead gorgeous woman with brains to match.

UPDATE:  For you fans of Shannon, she will be providing analysis during FNC's coverage of the Republican presidential debate on Thursday.

Could Morning Joe Move to CBS?

Mediaite's Colby Hall writes about the possibility of Morning Joe jumping networks from MSNBC to CBS.

This is the key paragraph of Hall's post:

So would Morning Joe and Mika help change CBS fortunes? Maybe, but they would probably have to change the show significantly from its primarily insider political buzz to appeal to a broader audience. But in the end, CBS demonstrated that they could change the entire morning anchor team without really changing the ratings so they may decide that with a bold move like this, they really have nothing to lose.

Also, what would a move to CBS do for MSNBC's morning ratings?  Morning Joe has been beating CNN's American Morning on a regular basis.  Would the loss of Joe and Mika send MSNBC back into last place?  Likely.

S.E. Cupp's Sunday Routine

Sunday's edition of the New York Times featured a look at FNC contributor S.E. Cupp's "Sunday Routine."

S.E.'s Sunday Routine in a nutshell?  Watching NASCAR.

In other words, the best way to spend a Sunday, in the opinion of this NASCAR fan.

Another Weekend of Fill Ins on Fox & Friends Weekend

With Alisyn Camerota still doing weekday duty, Juliet Huddy and Heather Nauert filled in on the weekend edition of Fox & Friends this weekend.

On Saturday, Juliet Huddy wowed viewers in a blue dress that is perfect for a night on the town.

And on Sunday, FNC brought in ex-FNC'er (now anchor at NYC's local Fox station, WNYW) Heather Nauert, who looked pretty in pink.

A rather stark contrast to Dave Briggs's geeky bowtie.

Lara Logan to Speak about Her Attack on 60 Minutes

TVNewser reports that this Sunday's edition of CBS's 60 Minutes will feature an interview with Lara Logan, a reporter for the network who was brutally attacked.

The post links to an article by Brian Stelter in the New York Times discussing the incident.  It is a very painful read to be sure.

It really pains me to know that this happened.  Nobody deserves what happened to Lara.

It's great to see that she's recovering.  Lara is a very strong woman with a lot of guts and smarts.  She is determined, above all, to not let this one incident define her.  Knowing her, it won't.

Be proud, Lara, you are a survivor, a badass, and a hero.  I deeply respect and admire you and your work.  This terrible time will not define you.  As you have said, your best work is yet to come.

Q&A with Liz Claman

Modern Mom has a Q&A with FBN's Liz Claman.

Along with more general questions, Liz discusses how being a woman and mother has impacted her career.

Overall, a very interesting Q&A that shows just how much of a go-getter Liz is.  She sees an opportunity and goes for it.  Very admirable.

Erin Burnett Going to CNN?

Brian Stelter of The New York Times reports that Erin Burnett is jumping from CNBC to CNN.

Other than stating that Erin's deal with CNN will be "long-term," Stelter is short on details, raising questions about Erin's potential role on CNN.  Will she be an anchor or a reporter?  If she will be an anchor, what time slot will she fill?  Will her reporting be limited to business news?

Like many other viewers, I've always considered Erin to be part of CNBC's brand.  To see a story about her leaving the network with which she is so closely associated is shocking.

Erin Burnett has proven to be an extremely talented business news reporter on CNBC.  She will undoubtedly be a great asset to CNN.

Lovely Ladies in London

The networks have been sending their A-listers to London to cover the upcoming Royal Wedding.  It's an opportunity to see some of our favorite newswomen outside of the studio.

CNN's Kiran Chetry has been out and about in London, reporting on the route of the royal carriage and sporting one of the tiny hats (known as fascinators) made popular by bride-to-be Kate Middleton.

Meanwhile, on MSNBC, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski have taken their show across the pond as well.

And FNC's Martha MacCallum is also en route to London to cover the big day.

While I will not watch the coverage of the Royal Wedding myself, these women will do a bang-up job covering it.

Lis Wiehl and Kimberly Guilfoyle Duke it Out on the O'Reilly Factor

FNC legal analysts Lis Wiehl and Kimberly Guilfoyle appeared on their weekly "Is it Legal?" segment on the O'Reilly Factor last night.

This week, the duo duked it out over subjects ranging from police surveillance of cell phone use to the right to watch porn in public libraries.

Sadly, the videos of these segments are not posted regularly on Foxnews.com.  It's a shame, since they feature a lot of interesting debate and banter between Lis and Kimberly.  Hopefully they will start posting them soon.

Lis Wiehl and Kimberly Guilfoyle are two lovely legal ladies.

Behind the Scenes with Robin Meade at Accent Health

CNN.com has a video from Robin Meade showing what goes on behind the scenes at a taping of Accent Health.

Accent Health is a special program from CNN shown in doctor's offices.  Robin and CNN health contributor Dr. Sanjay Gupta report on health-related news.  The pair work very well together, and have great chemistry.

I've seen Accent Health several times in while sick in my doctor's waiting room.  Robin's beauty and cheerful personality certainly helped to ease the illness.

Robin Meade's Book Set for Re-Release in May

The book, Morning Sunshine, tells about how Robin overcame her social anxiety and became the confident woman we see on TV today.  The book is set for a re-release in paperback on May 25.

I absolutely adore Robin Meade.  Her cheerful personality makes HLN the channel to watch for morning news.

It's Official: Harris Faulkner Gets the Fox Report Weekend

FNC has finally made the official announcement:  Harris Faulkner is now the anchor of the Fox Report Weekend.

TVNewser has a post on the announcement, including a press release from FNC.

Harris has been anchoring the Fox Report Weekend since January, when FNC bumped Julie Banderas from her weekend anchoring duties without explanation.

As a huge fan of Julie Banderas, I'm going to be honest here:  I haven't been happy about the change since it was first made.  I still feel that Julie has gotten a raw deal.

That said, I don't blame Harris in the slightest.  She's a good (and good-looking) anchor.  Good luck to her.

Lara Logan Update

CBS reporter Lara Logan has broken her Facebook silence, posting on her Facebook page for the first time since being attacked in Egypt more than two months ago.

Her post was a eulogy for photojournalist Chris Hondros, one of the two journalists who-along with Oscar-winning filmmaker Tim Hetherington-was killed in Libya last week.

Also, a Facebook page set up by an Egyptian to apologize to Lara for the attack has posted that CBS is sending cards thanking people for their support.

Best wishes for Lara's continued recovery and eventual return to work.
